Internet-Dispatched Transportation (Uber, etc.) and the Taxi Industry

uberOur Friday lunch speakers this week will be two cab drivers who are fighting to relax the restrictions on the “for-hire” taxi industry, Julian Uchima and Joshua Bullard. Both gentlemen were featured this week on the Wednesday segment of the Houston Matters radio show (KUHF) in which Mayor Turner gave a defense for the status quo.

PUBLIC INVITED: $11.49 plus 10% gratuity – buffet self-serve – all you can eat.

Coffee and tea are extra.

The Lam Bo Restaurant (Chinese and American food), is at

6159 Westheimer Road, about a mile west of Chimney Rock on the south side.
