(AUSTIN) — The Comptroller’s office will conduct 18 free taxpayer seminars
across the state in July and August. At these seminars, taxpayers can learn how to properly fill out tax forms and file and pay taxes electronically. Information about e-services also will be available to help taxpayers manage their online accounts. Comptroller representatives will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.
“We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible. Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides guidance for businesses,” said Chris Bryan, spokesperson for the Comptroller’s office.
A complete list of locations, dates and times of the taxpayer seminars is available online. Those who cannot attend the seminars can call the Comptroller’s tax assistance line at 1-800-252-5555. Tax forms and tax information can be found on the Comptroller’s website, Comptroller.Texas.Gov.
