Phyllis Ann Muehl (Schnaare) was born August 25, 1936 in Granite City, IL and passed away July 10, 2015 in Beeville, TX.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gary D. Muehl; parents, Charles M. Schnaare, Sr. and Ethel N. Schnaare (Robison); sister, Catherine Balmer; and brother, Charles M. Schnaare, Jr.
She is survived by son, Jeff Muehl and wife Peggy of Beeville, TX; son, Stephen Muehl of Long Beach, CA; and step-grandson, Steven Cordier of Houston, TX along with nieces and nephews.
Phyllis loved nature, bird watching in particular, and the mountains and national parks across the country to which she and her late husband often traveled. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Katy, TX.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Katy, TX. Interment was at Houston National Cemetery.
