Central Fort Bend Chamber Welcomes New Member, HNTB

On Monday, July 18th the Central Fort Bend Chamber hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their new member HNTB. HNTB is a nationwide transportation and infrastructure firm based out of Kansas City, having a local office in the Houston area, since 1979. They have recently expanded to the Fort Bend County area due to an exciting new project they are starting with TxDOT. Senior Project Manager, Raj Basavaraju thanked business owners, elected officials and community members who came out to support HNTB. Raj also introduced Senior Project Manager, Jorge Nevares and Houston Office Leader, Mike Vionis who continued to thank their staff for all their hard work and dedication.

HNTB has over 4,000 employees nationwide and plans to expand across Texas by providing a range of professional services. Vionis shared, “We are excited about the new move to the Fort Bend area and to be a member of the Central Fort Bend Chamber”. Basavaraju added that, “We have been discussing our presence in the growing Fort Bend County area for two years, and are excited to have the opportunity to work with TxDot and give back to the success of the Highway 36 project”.
