The Central Fort Bend Chamber’s Young Professionals Committee is hosting the “Know Your Community” event next week on Thursday, August 18th at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., held at the Del Webb Sweetgrass community located at 707 Del Webb Blvd. in Richmond.  Know Your Community provides the opportunity to network and learn more about the happenings in Richmond straight from our featured speaker, Evalyn Moore, Mayor of Richmond. The Central Fort Bend Chamber and the Young Professionals Committee hope to create great conversation about the City of Richmond’s progress and its programs. The price to attend the event is $20 which includes 2 drink tickets and appetizers to enjoy during the event. As part of their mission to support local philanthropy, the Young Professionals Committee asks that everyone who attends bring an item to help Attack Poverty rebuild and provide assistance to the families who were affected by the recent floods in Fort Bend County. Please donate gift cards from Lowes, Home Depot, McCoy’s or Ace Hardware to help purchase building supplies.
