“We are so excited to present the Mondays with Mommy program again this fall,” says Chanda Cashen Chacon, president of Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. “As the first hospital in the Houston community built exclusively for children, we believe in providing our families with the highest quality care and enjoy working with our community partners to offer these great experiences.”
The series takes place in LaCenterra’s Courtyard at 10 a.m. on the first Monday of the month, except on holidays. Mondays with Mommy is a free community program open to children ages 0 – 5, playgroups, parents, grandparents and caregivers. Jodie Jensen with Kindermusik is the returning host of the program.
“Truth #1: Your little one has boundless energy. Truth #2: Your little one craves nothing more than to connect with YOU. Mondays with Mommy brings those two beautiful truths of childhood together by giving you the chance to get up and move, sing, dance, and be silly with your kiddo. I can’t wait to have you join us for the fall season of Mondays with Mommy at LaCenterra!,” says Jodie Jensen, Music and Movement Director at Whole Steps Music.
Mondays with Mommy, Presented By: Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus will be held weather permitting and will include a themed craft project beginning at 9:45 a.m. The series breaks during the following months – January, February, June-August and December for winter and summer break.
