The Maud Marks Library hosts three book clubs that meet monthly. The Afternoon Book Club meets on the second Thursday of the month, September 8, at 1 PM. We will be discussing Tortilla Flat by John Steinbeck. Due to the Labor Day holiday, the Evening Book Club meets on the second Monday of the month, September 12, at 7 PM. We will be discussing The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. The Just Desserts Mystery Book Club meets the third Wednesday of the month, September 21, at 1 PM. We will be discussing Neon Rain by James Lee Burke. You are encouraged to bring your favorite dessert to eat while we discuss whether our villains get their just desserts.
If you are interested in joining any discussion group, extra copies of the books are available at the library. There are no dues, and new members are welcome!
