
Houston, Texas—September 20, 2016. Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is only days away from its annual Jeans & Jewels’ Luncheon and Style Show!
Hosted at Shirley Acres on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., this year’s theme, Paris, Texas, is in honor of Lauren Temple, member of NAM’s Board of Trustees. Dana Tyson, host of The Morning Show on SUNNY 99.1 and long-time supporter or NAM will be the Emcee at this year’s event.
“We are so fortunate to have an Emcee like Dana for this year’s Luncheon,” explained Meredith Sharp, Vice President of Fund Development.. “Dana is an important member of the Houston cultural and charitable scene and we couldn’t think of anyone better to host this event,” Gonzalez said.
The Jeans & Jewels Luncheon will feature a Style Show modeling designs from Anything Bling, MRS Couture and Cavender’s. Vendor tables hosted by Kendra Scott, Elaine Turner, The Bath Hub and a makeup bar provided by Chanel will also be available. Luncheon attendees will also participate in a raffle for a vintage Chanel wallet on chain valued at $6,300.
Tickets to the Jeans & Jewels Luncheon and Style Show are for sale until Wednesday Sept. 21, 2016 at a price of $60 per individual ticket.
Following the Luncheon and Style Show, NAM will also host its annual Gala benefitting NAM. This event is NAM’s largest annual fundraiser. Last year, along with the Jeans & Jewels Wine Party and Jeans & Jewels Luncheon it raised more than $750,000 for the organization’s services to Neighbors in Need. This year’s Gala will take place Saturday, October 22 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. Gala tables start at $2,000 and tickets are $200 per person. Gala sponsors are needed at a variety of levels and they’ll receive ad space and recognition in this year’s program. This year’s Honorees are Tom and Darlis Fuller, both long-time supporters of NAM.
