Area attorneys are invited to the Tuesday, October 25, 2016 lunch meeting of the Katy Bar Association at 11:30 A.M. at Hasta la Pasta, 1450 W Grand Parkway South, Katy, Texas.
The guest speaker is Stanley P. Santire, His topic is “The New Federal Trade Secrets Law: Impact on Employees and Employers”, with discussion on the current Texas Trade Secrets law and (lack of) preemption.”
Mr. Santire is a practicing attorney with the Santire Law Firm, PLLC. He served as a line office with the U.S. Navy, received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas in 1972 and postdoctoral work at Columbia Law School and Hague Academy of International Law, The Hague, the Netherlands.
He has extensive mediation training, authored a number of papers, and is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Texas Bar College, Texas Center for Legal Ethics and Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Circuit. He is licensed to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, U.S. District Court Southern District of Texas and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
