The welcomed their new member and business, “Community Impact Newspaper”, on Friday, October 14th to the Chamber Family. Friends, family and business members gathered to show support and take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony held at the Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club in Richmond. Lawren Eckhardt, General Manager of the Richmond location welcomed and thanked guests saying, “We are so excited to bring Community Impact to Richmond, and thank you for welcoming us with such open arms within this community”. Regina Morales of the Central Fort Bend Chamber expressed her excitement stating, “We are looking forward to your success and our partnership with you. Thank you for making an effort to come here to grow your great product”. Owner and Founder, John Garrett also addressed attendees and shared the values that he and his wife Jennifer based Community Impact Newspaper off of, calling them the “Five Stones”: Faith, Passion, Quality, Innovation and Integrity. Mr. Garrett continued in saying, “This is who we are as a company and we plan to produce a phenomenal newspaper month in and month out. I got to drive in your amazing town and what I see is local businesses that continue to drive our economy. It is you guys who make our community go and who helps our community thrive”.
