The United States Marine Corps, War Bird Fly Over, Live Country Music and More are the Highlights of our Free, Fun, Veteran’s Day Event!

HOUSTON, TX – Local residents have a unique opportunity this Veteran’s Day November 11, 2016 to see three historic war planes perform a flyover, a U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard and enjoy a live country music performance from artist Cooper Wade. Children will learn a little history and as they hear short speeches from a dually drafted war veteran and Veteran of Foreign Wars State Judge Advocate, Ken Burton.
Willow Fork Drainage District’s Central Green – is a half-acre multipurpose park and public events venue located on the west end of LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch.
It will be an experience to remember and honor those who fought for our freedom.
The evening’s line up highlights are as follows:
5:00 pm -Speech from dually drafted WFDD Board Member, Joe Robinson
5:10 pm- United States Marine Corps Color Guard
5:30 pm- Flyover from Houston Commemorative Air Force, Houston Wing and Wings Over Houston Air Show
National Anthem from Country Artist Cooper Wade
5:40-5:45 pm- Speech by Veteran of Foreign Wars State Judge Advocate Ken Burton
5:45 pm-8:30 pm- Free Country Music Concert with Cooper Wade.
