The Katy Area Retired Educators(KARE) held their End of Year Celebration and announced their 2017 KARE Scholarship recipients. The pictures are as follows:
At the May 10, 2017 Katy Area Retired Educators (KARE) Luncheon, David Chastain (KARE member) awarded four Katy ISD students, who intend to pursue careers in public education, with $1000 KARE Scholarships. These scholarships were made possible by donations from KARE members and Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union. Karen Sparks, our guest speaker shared valuable words of wisdom to the scholarship recipients.
