The Katy ISD 2015 graduating class surpassed the state and national average SAT scores in all subject areas: Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing. Furthermore, Katy ISD graduates increased the mean scores in Critical Reading for the third consecutive year, and the mean scores in Writing for the second consecutive year. At the state and national levels, mean scores declined in all three subject areas.
This year, a total of 3,265 students participated in SAT testing, an increase of 147 students from 2014.
