This past weekend, the Star of Destiny Chapter of Katy joined many other chapters around the country and abroad by participating in the National Day of Service to America, commemorating the 125th Anniversary of the founding of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution(NSDAR).
On Saturday, October 10, members of the Star of Destiny Chapter NSDAR, in conjunction with Stars and Stripes Chapter CAR, collected care package items for our troops through the 2nd Annual Project Patriot SOS (Support Our Soldiers) [photo attached].
On Sunday, October 11, Star of Destiny Chapter NSDAR members sorted and reorganized donations at Clothed By Faith whose mission is to demonstrate God’s love by helping to clothe at-risk children and those struggling with poverty [photo attached].
By joining together, the NSDAR has strengthened our community and our country by promoting and celebrating patriotism, education, and historic preservation across our communities for 125 years.
