Our lunch speaker this week is Texas senator Paul Bettencourt. Sen. Bettencourt will be giving his first speech as the newly appointed chair of the Senate Committee on Property Tax Reform and Relief. His topics will cover major events in the 2015 legislative session, commentary on the recent Houston elections, and proposals for policy changes that may lead to smaller tax burdens for all Texans.
