The Historical “Ye Kendall Inn” in Boerne, TX is announcing that the iconic hotel and tavern has transferred ownership to Mr. Bill Bird of Boerne, Texas.
Established in 1859, Ye Kendall Inn sits prominently on the banks of the Cibolo Creek in the heart of downtown Boerne, Texas. The structure was originally built as a private home, then expanded in 1878 and renamed the Boerne Hotel, before finally becoming “Ye Kendall Inn” in 1909.
Today, the beautiful Ye Kendall Inn is a jewel of the Texas Hill Country set on 5 acres conveniently located on Main Plaza, just steps away from Boerne’s downtown historical district. Reminiscent of times gone by, we offer 36 charming rooms and quaint cabins, as well as 5,000 square feet of meeting space with an additional 4,000 square feet of court yard space available. Guests enjoy relaxing on any one of our numerous porches and verandas or cozying up to the outdoor fireplace. Also available is the oversized Jacuzzi Hot Tub, our Ropes course by the Creek, and the trail head of the 1.75 mile Cibolo Creek Trail.

Also a favorite of visitors and locals alike is “The Tavern”, Ye Kendall Inn’s own hotel lounge. It is believed that the original kitchen wing was added to the hotel around 1878, and today, in conjunction with a well know restaurant organization in the area, The Tavern will soon be home to “Peggy’s On The Green”, an upscale full service restaurant offering a wide range of menu items in both taste and price. Relax in Hill Country hospitality among a warm, slow paced, family atmosphere while enjoying your beverage of choice at the Tavern’s full service bar. Join us for Thirsty Thursday every Thursday night with a live Jazz band and drink specials, starting at 6 pm.
Whether you are looking for a unique wedding venue, family reunion location, corporate meeting space or just a romantic weekend destination, Ye Kendall Inn is sure to please. Conveniently located just 30 miles north of the San Antonio International Airport, Boerne is the HUB of the Hill Country offering plenty of shopping, dining, and site seeing. The owners and staff of Ye Kendall Inn would be pleased to provide a quaint, quiet resting place for you and yours just as it has done for General Robert E. Lee, President Dwight Eisenhower, and Jefferson Davis, as well as numerous other travelers over the past 150 years!
