CAP alumnus ChiChi the Chihuahua will be featured in the starting lineup for Animal Planet’s 2016 Puppy Bowl! To celebrate, CAP will be hosting a fee-free adoption event.
February 6 and 7, 2016. Visit CAP on February 7 to watch the Puppy Bowl at the shelter – there will be food trucks, activities, and you may even get to meet ChiChi herself! Sponsored by West Houston Subaru.
Animal Planet will present 84 puppies from 44 rescues across the U.S. who were drafted to represent “Team Ruff’ and “Team Fluff’ in the 2016 Puppy Bowl XII.
Citizens for Animal Protection’s (CAP) draft is ChiChi, the Chihuahua. ChiChi was a foster care puppy who has been adopted into a wonderful family. While in foster care, ChiChi accepted the challenge to participate in Puppy Bowl XII and she can be seen on Super Bowl Sunday from 3 – 5pm ET/PT on Animal Planet.
Pedigree’s Starting lineup boasts 49 puppies competing for the famed title of Bissell MVP (Most Valuable Puppy). The tailgate/pre-game starts at 2:30pm ET/PT and Puppy Bowl XII kicks off at 3pm ET/PT. To celebrate, CAP will be offering fee-waived adoptions (application approval) on Saturday, February 6th, from 11 am to 6pm and on Sunday, February 7th, from 1 pm to 6pm. West Houston Subaru is sponsoring the adoption fees on both days. On Super Bowl Sunday, CAP will have the Puppy Bowl airing on shelter TVs, along with food trucks, Boom Radio, cheerleaders, fee waived adoptions and much more. You may also have a chance to meet ChiChi and her adopted family.
