Washington, DC – Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) was honored yesterday with the “Award for Conservative Excellence” from the American Conservative Union (ACU). In 2015, Olson received a 92% conservative rating from the ACU. These ratings are based on members’ votes on key measures of importance to conservatives.
“I am honored to receive this award from the American Conservative Union,” Rep. Olson said. “As a committed conservative, I will continue to fight for the principles of liberty and limited government for Texas and America. Following the Constitution is not a suggestion, it’s the law of the land and I will continue to push its conservative values as long as I am honored to serve in Congress.”
