The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking up to five qualified applicants to fill volunteer positions on the Real Property Advisory Council (RPAC). RPAC members are appointed by the Texas Adjutant General, serve three-year terms, and have experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, construction management, engineering, property management, facilities maintenance management, real estate services, or real property law. Applicants cannot be actively serving in the Texas National Guard. Members of the Texas State Guard are eligible to apply.
The RPAC, which is established under Texas Government Code Section 437.151, meets approximately four times a year to advise the Adjutant General on all aspects of the facility master plan, long-range construction plan, natural resources management plan, as well as on environmental studies and agreements. Members of the council will receive a per diem reimbursement for travel expenses.
